Approach
1. Pre Project
DEFINE GOALS
Discuss what you, the client, is attempting achieve. ie Lower energy bills, brighter lighting, lower maintenance cost.
PROJECT TIMELINE
Discuss expectations of project timeline and viability of meeting customer’s goals. If possible, introduce products that better fit the build schedule. Recommend products with lower labor costs and faster install times. In a pinch, if needed, we expedite shipping, or work with local distributors to facilitate quicker product receipt.
PRESENT HURDLES
Every project is unique and each has obstacles which we must work to overcome. We work to give you a clear assessment of what you can expect down the road.
DESIGN A SOLUTION
Present a solution to the client that fufills their needs entirely. This typically includes pricing, photometry, availability, delivery scheduling, cut sheets, CAD design, and a full electrical “take off”.
2. Installation
ORDER SCHEDULING
Delivery of products needs to be coordinated precisely with multiple parties. We project manage the whole lighting process. Ensuring no labor change orders, late product, or product damaged/lost/stolen due to early delivery. For larger builds we have 3 holding sites across the country to ensure that lights are delivered exactly when needed.
COORDINATING WITH INSTALLERS
One of the most troublesome aspects of installation is miscommunication between installers and material providers. Keeping the entire team on the same page from day one is paramount. What seems simple and expected is often neglected and leads to loss. When installers are on the site the only thing they should be concerned about is installing on time, not troubleshooting mistakes that should not exist in the first place. This service is where we excel best.
3. Post Project
JOB COMPLETION TIME
By project managing from start to end we rarely miss completion dates. In the event that there are unavoidable delays, we work to overnight product, provide quick redesign, but most importantly keep the project moving towards completion within the schedule and budget always aiming to keep customers satisfied.
RECYCLING
All of our bids include recycling fees for your previous lights. Often these older lights contain hazardous materials and must be disposed of with compliance to the EPA.
WARRANTIES
Standard warranty on products is 5 years for most manufacturers. If your product fails during this time it is replaced. For some products extended warranties can be purchased. There are also warranties available for purchase on electrician’s labor to fix or reinstall damaged fixtures.
